In the previous years I used to look forward to my annual birthday bash at Morato. The exclusive drink out with friends and relatives, party till you drop, that kind of get together. Yeah, I still celebrated my birthday this year but it was completely the opposite from its predecessors. What do I mean? January 3, 08 was a Thursday - a regular work day for me. I went to work didn't bother telling anybody at the office, went home had a simple dinner with family and blew the candle on the cake. That simple of a celebration. I almost forgot we have this tradition that if somebody had a birthday a cake will be prepared at Morato with everybody witnessing and singing the celebrant a happy birthday.
I was giving way to my dearest son's 1st birthday party. We have been busy these past few months planning and preparing for Joaqui's big day. I had to drag my parents and even my grandma to the planning committee just to have the best results. I'm ecstatic to say that everything went smoothly and the day was perfect! Everbody had a great time during the party, it's one of those moments that you can truly say "Priceless."
As added info the party was circus in theme, the balloons, the food --- hotdogs, burgers, nachos and ice cream everything was there. The house was really full of life that day.
[this is good]
Belated happy birthday! Yeah, I didn't receive news of a Morato bash this year. Fatherhood, huh? :-)

You're correct Owen this is the first time that we had to skip the annual Morato bash.
